A short biography of him:-
Low Kim Pin, co-founder of Kim Guitar Studio, classical guitarist, music educator, and early childhood music specialist. He achieved his music diploma course at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore. He studied with many renowned classical guitarists around the world. He is also a trained guitar teacher of Dr. Suzuki’s Talent Education Method.
The club is having a Christmas Party on the 16th Dec 2017 so register asap. We have purchase the door gifts, group games prizes and some lucky draw prizes to be won. Just a reminder, do bring along a Gift (Price at least $10 and above) for the Christmas Gift Exchange slot.

Breaking Barriers, Building Bonds, Broadening Boundaries.
Once again, it’s our annual music camp. The above picture is the program for the day so if you had not informed Pay Peng or Doris on your attendance, please do so asap. This year, we had a special guest speaker that will be here to share with us some tip. A short profile of Sumin can be found HERE.

Mass Jamming organised by PAssionArts and Jurong GRC, Yuhua and Bukit Batok SMCs Community Arts and Culture Clubs.
The organiser are recruiting 500 Guitarists and 500 Ukeists for a mass jamming at Yuhua PAssionArts Festival Village at Science Centre Singapore on 5 August 5pm to 9pm!

Training Dates for the Assistant Volunteer Trainers are as follows:
(Assistant Volunteer Trainers are encouraged to attend at least 2 sessions)

The first outdoor membership bonding session for the club member. Organized by the Membership Sub-Comm with key planner by Doris and Germaine. The objective for the session is to have bonding, fun, healthy and something exciting.
Date: 30th April 2017 (Sun)
Time: 8.30am
Meeting Place: Tampines Bus Interchange Bus No. 28
We will alight 3 bus stop from Interchange. The estimated traveling time is 30min and the trail walk will last around 2hrs. For those that are driving, you can meet at the Park Entrance at 9am.
Things to bring:-
- Water
- Cap or Umbrella
- Insect Repellent
- Comfortable clothing and shoe
We will buy lunch after the walk and eat and chill at Doris place function room. Please contact the membership sub-com if you are coming for the event: Wei Nee, Clement, Woon boon, Doris and Hannah.
For this day, we had invited 2 of our Alumni to share with us on Guitar Music. First of all, Prof. Bertrand Lim. One of our old Alumni who joined the club since 1993. Currently working at SMU.
Then followed by Mr Low Kim Pin who join the club in 2013. He is currently working as a Classical Guitar Teacher at Yamaha Music (Asia).
On the coming Sat, we had gladly invite 2 of our Alumni to come to the club for some Music Sharing session.
First of all, will be Mr Marcus Loh, joined the club since 1991. He will be sharing on some Guitar Playing Technique. Then followed by Mr Kevin Loh, A highly gifted young musician, currently studying in the world-renowned Yehudi Menuhin School of Music in the UK, a Singaporean classical guitarist.
