NTU Guitar Ensemble Concert | History of Music, A String of Events | 1st March 2017 @ 7.30pm | Esplanade Recital Studio

This year, NTU Guitar Ensemble’s annual concert Nocturne takes on the theme ‘History of Music, A String of Events’. As the name suggests, the concert will take audience on a time machine back to the past and then back to the future along the history of music.

The ensemble will begin with classical pieces from different eras such as ‘Four Seasons’ and ‘Nutcracker Suite’, followed by rock classics from the 70s such as the ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Finally, the journey will commence with the familiarity of popular music from our era, including Lady Gaga and Coldplay.

And as usual, this year’s concert will not be missing small group performances from their talented ensemble as well as our newly established Ukulele Sub-Club players. These small groups performances always bring surprises and excitement with the choice of songs while providing an extended platform for the display of their players’ talents.

For more information, please visit their facebook site at
